EMI/RFI Shielded Cabinets
Our EMI/RFI Shielded Cabinets were tested for radiated electric fields in accordance with paragraph 4.1.2 within MIL-STD-285. The frequencies tested
were 30MHZ through 1GHZ. An independent testing laboratory performed testing. Test results are available upon request.
Shielded Material - EMI/RFI Gasketing is used to
provide an adequate level of shielding effectiveness for commercial applications. A copper EMI shielding strip is used on doorframes to accept doors and an EMI knitted wire mesh /
elastomer core gasket is used for slide panels.
3-Point Latch - A 3-point latch mechanism is used to compress the copper EMI shielding strip door gasket material. The 3-point latch
mechanism and the rigid high quality door provide the compression required to achieve the level of shielding effectiveness necessary for your commercial application.
Cable Entry and Ventilation - Shielded cables pass through the bottom cable
panel and terminate to the chassis at this point. Additional airflow is permitted through the vented top provided in each cabinet. For more efficient heat
dissipation, optional fan assemblies and blower units are available. Please call us for pricing and specifications for EMI/RFI Shielded
Cabinets.
